Datapipe expands European presence, acquires Adapt

3 MIN READ

Datapipe, a cloud services manager for the enterprise, has acquired UK managed cloud services provider (MSP) and Advanced AWS Consulting Partner, Adapt. Financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed.

The cloud computing company believes that the acquisition will expand its European presence and enhance capabilities for clients worldwide. Adapt specializes in agile hybrid solutions that deliver public and private cloud to clients as a single service. Both companies are seen to take a transformative approach to cloud, partnering with enterprises to innovate, optimize, and scale mission-critical and day-to-day IT operations.

“Adapt and Datapipe both have cultures that focus on proactive, high-touch customer service and a commitment to customer specific solutions designed to meet clients’ individual business challenges,” said Robb Allen, CEO, Datapipe.

Our similar approach to guiding client’s on their cloud journey makes the acquisition a natural fit for us and will increase our scale and service capabilities in the United Kingdom, and the broader European market.

In June this year, Datapipe partnered with Microsoft to help businesses in Hong Kong and the Asia-Pacific region, take to the cloud platform more easily. With this collaboration, Datapipe’s managed services were made available to enterprises on Microsoft’s cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure, Office 365, and hybrid cloud across Asia-Pacific.

Furthermore, the cloud service provider has been recognized by Microsoft as a Direct Partner in its Cloud Service Provider (CSP) Program in Hong Kong. This will make Datapipe one of only four Direct CSP Partners in Hong Kong.

This is the latest advancement for Datapipe as the company continues to gain momentum in the management of multiple cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, and its own leading hosted private cloud, Stratosphere. Last year, the company acquired AWS assessment, automation, and migration company DualSpark to simplify the complexity of migrating and optimizing apps and critical infrastructure in public clouds.
