How will Redcore help Accenture?
The joint offering could prove beneficial in furthering Accenture’s Cybersecurity and defense platform in folding Redcore’s cyber expertise into Accenture Security which aims at enabling clients to tap into the latest strategies and technologies to address their toughest cybersecurity challenges, As-a-Service.
Kelly Bissell, Managing Director, Accenture Security, said that the acquisition of Redcore will allow Accenture to expand its existing IAM services and security-as-a-Service capabilities along with other critical cyber defense services while also immediately extending our leadership position in the Asia-Pacific region.

Together, we will be better positioned to tailor intelligent security services to organizations’ unique businesses and industries and deliver innovative solutions that help build business resilience from the inside out.
What does Redcore do?
According to the company, Redcore has deployed multiple large-scale cybersecurity solutions, including multi-factor authentication and secure application gateways that are used by Australian banks and government agencies. As a part of its standalone operations Redcore offers Cyber management and security, Identity Management and Service Management. It also claims to offer Big Data analytics to customers in enhancing business intelligence and gain insights into identity analytics.

However this is not Accenture’s first such collaboration. Prior to this, it inked a deal with IT security providers, Splunk, Palo Alto Networks and Tanium to offer cybersecurity via Accenture Cyber Defense Platform (ACDP). Also, earlier in June it had acquired Maglan to up its cybersecurity game in Israel. This was in the backdrop of hiring Bissel, an ex-Deloitte executive to lead its cybersecurity team.
