Mobile marketing tech firm TUNEs into India

Enterprise SaaS mobile marketing technology company, TUNE, has launched its first corporate office in India. According to the company, the move has been made to accelerate its rapidly growing base of customers and partners in the region.

TUNE’s efforts in India will be led by Ashwiny Thapliyal, as the Regional Head of Sales for India & Southeast Asia. Thapliyal has previously donned various outfits in mobile and digital advertising companies such as InMobi and Komli. The company also claims to have put together a team of sales, marketing and business experts to carry out its business strategy and operations in the country.

According to the company, India is the fourth largest market in terms of revenue and critical to business and growth in the Asia Pacific region; poised as a strategic hub for business in Southeast Asia. The new office will be TUNE’s third in the APAC region, taking the total number of locations worldwide to nine including Seattle, San Francisco, New York City, Tel Aviv, London, Seoul, Tokyo and Berlin.

The Seattle based company claims to have recorded an growth increase of 144% last year and a rise of 80% in clients. With its India base, the company can now service its regional clients such as Flipkart, OLX, Amazon India, MakeMyTrip, eBay India, Tyroo, and vCommission.
