The company claims that Helix is already gaining traction with leading companies and technology partners around the world. Applying FireEye iSIGHT intelligence, orchestration, and Mandian expertise to any security operations environment, Helix is designed to deliver a simplified, integrated, and automated security operations experience customers want.

Helix entails over 300 technology integrations with basic security tools in-use by customers, including next-generation firewalls, anti-virus and SIEMs, and by fostering an ecosystem of advanced security technologies. This is all centralized in a single management and analytics interface designed by and for security practitioners. Pricing and deployment also have been simplified, with a low-cost, “as-a-service” subscription model that flexibly scales with an organization’s business.
Partners have a bigger advantage
For partners, FireEye Helix provides one platform to unify their customers’ entire security operations program and realize additional value from their current security infrastructure. Partners can utilize their knowledge of client environments and assist with implementation, as well as design orchestration playbooks to automate low-level response tasks that previously required expert analysts’ time.
Helix also provides the option for customers to directly manage their security operations or have a partner or FireEye manage their security operations, including the ability to step in at the exact moment a security event exceeds their capacity or expertise.
Ensuring security with ‘smarter’ means
FireEye claims that unlike basic security products that rely on artificial intelligence, sandboxing or other singular technologies, Helix combines machine, adversary, and breach intelligence to identify what these other solutions fail to detect. It delivers automation and orchestration that increases response speed, shrinks alert-to-fix time, and lowers cost of operations.
Pricing and Availability
FireEye Helix Platform is generally available today, priced by tier, as a subscription. For existing customers, simple upgrade programs are made available. Additional features like Expanded Automation capabilities and Enhanced Malware Analysis are available as add-ons subscriptions to the Helix platform.
