Appy Pie expands CRM offering with Salesforce API

California-based mobile application builder, Appy Pie that claims to help users “make apps as easy as pie” with its Do It Yourself (DIY) services, has announced the expansion of its Customer Relationship Managemnet (CRM) offerings with Salesforce Application Programming Interface (API) integration in its App Builder for Android and iOS. Appy Pie claims to be a cloud-based, visual, drag-and-drop mobile app builder that enables users to build HTML5 hybrid apps that apparently runs on multiple platforms including BlackBerry devices. It also allows users to publish their apps in Appy Pie Marketplace, Apple App Store, Google Play, and iTunes with an upgraded Appy Pie subscription services. And later monetize their apps with advertisements. The company states that Salesforce will probably aid Appy Pie’s clients, to track customer leads via a synchronized Salesforce platform and will potentially allow business owners in effectively handling their customers’ requirements and queries, without any hassle. According to Appy Pie, the API is backed up with two interfaces. Users will reportedly, have the option to integrate the quotes forms of the App with Salesforce CRM platform in the first interface, and in the second interface, users can directly assign the customers’ leads to the specific employees from their Salesforce account. Moreover, the leads assigned to the employees can be visualized by signing in into their Salesforce account in the app. Abhinav Girdhar, Founder and CEO, Appy Pie, said:
We integrated Salesforce API as a part of CRM offering to help businesses in fully satisfying their customers’ queries, without any hassle. Integrating the Salesforce API in the app will allow entrepreneurs to integrate the quotes forms of the App with Sales force CRM platform and receive customers’ leads within the synchronized Salesforce account. Through their Salesforce account, business owners can also assign these queries and leads to the specific employees. The allocated sales leads can be seen by the employees by signing in into their Salesforce account through the app.
“Looking to the growing needs of our customers for Salesforce services, we integrated Salesforce API as a part of our new CRM offering. Through this exceptional API, you can harness the power of Salesforce’s leading services onto the mobile platform, and effectively convert the customers’ leads into potential clients,” Girdhar added. Appy Pie could be an ideal fit for individuals, small businesses, restaurants, real estate agents, and organizations such as churches that need an app but don’t have the programming skills required to write the code or the resources to hire the programming expertise required. SMBs, especially, can benefit from features like push notifications or instant messages based on the end user’s physical location. With push notifications, businesses can let customers know about special deals, upcoming events and enhance customer engagement experience. Founded in the year 2013, Appy Pie competes against the likes of Launchkit, MyAppBuilder and iBuildApp in providing mobile app development tools in today’s market. And boasts of providing these tools to growing businesses like TWYNS and CE (Commission Express).
