Evolving requirements are driving the replacement of a monolithic stack solution with Qlik, a micro-services platform designed for the cloud,” said Anthony Deighton, CTO and SVP, Products, Qlik.
“We built the category for user-driven, self-service BI and now we continue to expand the market by creating an extensible, cloud-first platform that companies of all sizes can consider the centerpiece of their analytics strategy.”
Features
The Sense Cloud Business provides a drag-and-drop interface and visualization experience in a responsive, HTML5 client with data-driven insights to users and groups. It states that the simplicity of the UI helps users of all technical skills to create, manage, and collaborate with meaningful analytic apps on multiple devices. Since it is a web-based experience, the data and applications are always available and accessible.
The solution also lets users share insights within and outside organizations. It also has a visual data prep that can be used to combine multiple data sets from multiple sources, to quickly create interactive apps that show the whole story in the data. It offers a group work area to collaborate, group data space to contribute data, and group shared networks to manage multiple shared networks.
According to Qlik, with this cloud-based model, organizations can add new users and apps as requirements change, with the elasticity to support current and future needs. The company has priced the solution for SMBs at $25 per user, per month and is available generally.
