SecureAuth releases IDaaS 'Cloud Access' for enterprises

California-based SecureAuth that provides an integrated service across single sign-on mobile devices, cloud applications and networks has announced the release of its cloud-based Identity-as-a-service (IDaaS), SecureAuth Cloud Access. The company claims that the solution enables the user to securely manage SaaS adoption while having the ability to adapt to organization’s dynamic demands. Cloud Access facilitate IT and security teams to streamline administration, secure the identity perimeter, along with improving user convenience. It enables enterprises to accelerate and manage SaaS adoption to boost the organization forward. The new IDaaS offerings unifies Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Adaptive (risk-based) Authentication, and administration tools to help enterprises to connect and protect the use of SaaS applications. Keith Graham, CTO, SecureAuth stated, “While SaaS adoption has increased business agility, it’s also caused users to juggle too many credentials, which leads to poor user security practices. Further compounding this is that IT has to manually process, add, change and delete requests to SaaS applications.”
“Keeping up with all these security demands is no small feat, especially when taking into account that most SaaS applications do not support adaptive authentication, or even two factor authentication. With SecureAuth Cloud Access, organizations can rest assured that they can push their business security practices forward in a manner that’s still convenient for employees.”

Features:

  • Secure Single Sign-On (SSO): Cloud Access enables users to sign into every application they use with their standard corporate credentials. Users no longer need to remember multiple sets of credentials, which often lead to poor security practices. It caters a centralized SSO system to all users and ensures adoption and on-going use of the service.
  • Adaptive Authentication: It analyzes multiple factors to confidently determine the legitimacy of every login, thwart attacks in-process, and keep users’ valuable resources and data safe.
  • Multi-factor authentication (MFA): Cloud Access offers MFA that is convenient for all types of access and devices. It supports mobile applications, push-to-accept, one-time passcodes, and timed one-time passcodes, which can be sent via SMS/text, email, and telephony.
As Cloud Access is a cloud-based service it hardly takes time when it comes to deploying it. It can be setup in minutes as compared to the services that take weeks or even months. It controls and manages access to applications automatically based on directory group membership, and also supports delegating SaaS administration responsibilities for specific groups to others in the organization. A centralized easy to navigate console streamlines administration and visibility into application usage, password strength, and compliance. SecureAuth claims that the enterprises will be benefited from its adaptive access solutions on both on-premises and cloud environments.
