IBM veteran Bill Bodin is Kony’s new CTO

Austin-based enterprise mobility software developer Kony, Inc., has announced the appointment of Bill Bodin as Kony’s Chief Technology Officer. Being a veteran in technology sector, Bodin has filled Distinguished Engineer and Master Inventor roles at IBM with a career for over 30 years.

“Bill is an extremely well-respected technology visionary leader with an incredible reputation and depth of knowledge and expertise in the enterprise mobility space. He is not only a technical thought leader when it comes to mobile, but has a strong track record of helping businesses take full advantage of mobile transformation,” said Dave Shirk, President — Products, Strategy and Marketing, Kony.

“We are thrilled to have Bill join us as we continue to execute on our ambitious goal to become the undisputed leader in enterprise mobility, lead evangelism efforts with our growing developer community, and build our next-generation mobile architecture to better serve the unique needs of our customers,” Shirk added.

In this role, Bodin will play a key role in fortifying Kony’s innovation leadership in the enterprise mobility market, and shaping Kony’s technology vision and future product roadmap. He will lead the company’s technology evangelism efforts and also work with Kony’s growing base of global enterprise customers to achieve business outcomes through mobile innovation.
