enmo Technologies, a Smartphone App development platform for IoT devices, has made its new IoT software platform available through Digi-Key Electronics, a global electronic components distributor. According to the company, this partnership is a result of an established global distribution engagement.

“With a broad customer base and global presence, Digi-Key is the perfect partner for us. We are very excited to work together with Digi-Key to address customer needs in the rapidly growing global IoT market,” said Mike Speckman, Co-Founder and Chief Business Officer (CBO), enmo.

enmo claims that its new platform enables any mobile IoT device to connect to any cloud service. The platform is powered by its IoT.Over.Beacon technology, an innovative application of Bluetooth Low-Energy (BLE) that is designed to enable new and valuable IoT use cases.

Also, the comapany explains that with its integrated App Builder, developers can deploy their IoT Smartphone App solution in minutes, a self-service with no coding needed. IoT devices supported by enmo work with a wide range of beacon formats including iBeacon, AltBeacon, Gimbal and Eddystone.

“The enmo platform, powered by their IoT.Over.Beacon technology, enables new and extensive IoT applications to speed up IoT software development. enmo complements the IoT platforms already being offered in the marketplace, allowing us to offer a complete IoT solution to customers and engineers,” said David Stein, VP, Global Semiconductors, Digi-Key.
