Send attachments as links in IBM Notes with Vaultize plugin

1 MIN READ

Enterprise file security and BYOD solutions provider, Vaultize, has announced integration with email client, IBM Notes, to enable secure large size file sharing through a link.

The Vaultize plug-in for IBM Notes (formerly Lotus Notes) offers integration with enterprise digital rights management, enterprise file sync and share (EFSS), mobile collaboration, and mobile content management (MCM) under a single platform.

The plug-in replaces email attachments with secure links – enabling better IT control while reducing email storage (both in the mailbox and on email server) and network bandwidth. It also promises access control on shared files, even after the recipients have downloaded the files. Meanwhile, the Smart De-duplication feature reduces network and storage usage by up to 90 percent.

The plugin is already available for Microsoft Outlook.

All shared files are stored only once on the Vaultize server and a link is automatically inserted in the email.
