Infor, an Atlanta based CRM, enterprise asset management (EAM) and solutions provider has invested in a partnership worth $25 million in Predictix which facilitates cloud solutions for omni-channel retail experience. This gives Infor a minority stake in the company.

“Infor and Predictix share a passion for delivering cutting-edge solutions to our clients,” said Molham Aref, CEO of Predictix. “Infor brings a rare combination of global scale, design thinking, and entrepreneurial spirit that is a great match for our next-generation technology and solutions,” he added.

The company will resell Predictix applications to its customers as a part of Infor CloudSuite Retail, and in turn Predictix customers will benefit from the expertise of Infor’s Hook & Loop agency.

The two will also collaborate to leverage the company’s LogicBlox Platform to build cloud-native applications.

“Predictix has shown how next-generation technology can drive transformational value at some of the world’s largest retailers,” said Duncan Angove, President, Infor.

“We were also impressed by the LogicBlox Platform, which underlies the Predictix applications and has attracted DARPA funding for its fundamental innovation.”

In another partnership, Infor tied up with management and consulting firm, Kurt Salmon. Kurt Salmon plans to leverage its industry expertise and thought leadership to work with retailers on implementing a solution that is specific to their needs, including solutions that address help in engaging hyper-connected consumers.

Infor SCE upgraded

Coinciding with the investment, the company also announced the new updated release of its supply chain management solution — Infor Supply Chain Execution (SCE), version 10.4. The new version combines warehouse management, transportation execution, 3PL billing and labor management in a single, unified solution.

It is designed to help users optimize inventory, warehouse space and labor in the warehouse while streamlining the complex supply chain business processes. The solution is available to users as an on premise or cloud deployment.

“Many of our customers have supply chains with so many moving parts that it is essential for them to have complete accessibility and visibility into the process; whether from their suppliers or customers’ point of view,” said John Bermudez, vice president, Product Management, Infor. “The new Warehouse Management functionality along with updated dashboards and personalization makes Infor SCE 10.4 the perfect solution for our customers with complex supply chains.”
