Prodapt and Sprint team up to expand IoT ecosystem

Prodapt, a provider of software, operations and engineering services moved into a strategic partnership with telecom giant Sprint, to deliver IoT solutions for enterprises.

Synapt, the IoT division of Prodapt, will be working with Sprint, as an integrator to bring together former’s IoT platforms & products with hardware partners to deploy end-to-end, industry-specific solutions for Sprint’s global enterprise customer base. Prodapt operates in India, Europe, USA and South Africa.

Internet of Things refers to ever-growing network of physical objects that feature an IP address for internet connectivity, and the communication that takes place between these objects and other internet enabled devices. In other words it can be said that IoT is an intelligent networking of things that communicate directly or indirectly with each other.

IoT and its growth

The IoT market is expected to grow to $1.7 trillion by 2020 and the need for ready-to-use product platforms, rapid prototyping, and faster time to market are key elements for successful IoT deployments in the enterprise market.
