Now sales professionals on Android can follow-up too!

5 MIN READ

To help sales professionals make ‘following-up’ an easy task, Kahoots app, has launched on the Google Android platform. The Chicago based mobile technology company founded in 2014, claims that the app allows sales professionals to accelerate what they are already doing on their phone by getting the benefits of a CRM system without the cost, complexity, or concerns of giving control of their contacts to their company. Available on both iOS and Android, this smart networking and sales productivity application can be used as a clean contact and follow-up system for adding and managing customers, vendors, teams, and personal family and friends.

How sales professionals are Kahooting?

Apps like ScanBiz, ABBY Business Card Reader, CamCard among others lets users scan cards ad add them to the contacts and there are apps that organize contacts on the smartphone, here is where Kahoots App is different; it does both, and more. The app scans the business card, organizes it in the user’s contact list and also lets the user set a reminder of a follow-up for the contact. The follow-up reminder also lets the user chose the preferred channel to use for the interaction, email, call or a text message.

Nick Petit, Founder and CEO, Kahoots, says, “The mobile CRM is totally broken. It’s complex, expensive, and designed to benefit businesses and manage advanced stage relationships. Today’s sales professionals still primarily rely on the contacts in their phone and these relationships need discipline and follow-up to be developed into great relationships.”

Bridging networking gaps

Last year the company launched its smart mobile app aiming to help businesses and teams connect faster while on-the-go and away from their desk. At its core was a speed dial connecting employees by the most effective and efficient communications channels already on their smartphone.

The app brought simplicity of team messaging and management to users as they could create groups, share it, and everyone would be able to get access to accurate contact information. The version launched last year allowed teams to connect every employee and put a face with any name. New employees could browse teams, bios and projects. Managers could quickly search the team directory and connect with anyone from anywhere.

Available for $1.99 on Google Play and App Store, Kahoots claims that it won’t replace existing CRM systems, but will act as an accessory to it, giving users the discipline to drive sales and manage personal or professional contacts in an easy to use app. It is aiming to be the single app to manage any contact and master networking and sales productivity.

Petit says, “This is the beginning of a transformation around how businesses and mobile-first sales teams operate and sell. Kahoots will increase revenue growth by helping users improve their follow-up game while moving the complexity of the CRM to the back-office.”
