One of Salesforce’s major partners, Bluewolf, a global cloud consulting and implementation service has been acquired by IBM for an undisclosed amount. Bluewolf will be joining IBM Interactive Experience (IBM iX), which is a next-generation experience design and digital consultancy and a part of IBM Global Business Services. Together IBM iX and Bluewolf will form deeper consulting capability for clients adopting Salesforce solutions transforming relationships with their customers.

IBM iX’s deep proficiency in analytics, experience design and consulting will combine with Salesforce consulting practices to deliver differentiated, consumer-grade experiences via the cloud. The acquisition will give IBM access to one of Salesforce’s bigger consulting companies and allow IBM to add the CRM company’s consulting among the SaaS options in its Interactive Experience brand of services.

Paul Papas, Global Leader, IBM iX, says “Delivering an exceptional customer experience has emerged as a fundamental element in modern business strategy, and essential to any company’s competitive position. With the ability to deliver innovative solutions in an industry context, IBM iX and Bluewolf will be uniquely capable of creating differentiated customer experiences on the Salesforce platform. This means additional capabilities in experience design, coupled with leading expertise in integrating data, enabling mobility, and driving towards more cognitive solutions for enterprises.
