NetSfere that provides secure mobile messaging service for enterprises has integrated with Mountain View-based MobileIron, a cloud based mobile IT platform that secures and manages mobile applications, content and devices for enterprises. NetSfere claims that it will integrate with MobileIron AppConnect to ensure that employees can communicate securely and adhere to regulatory compliance requirements as MobileIron provides its AppConnect technology to third party mobile app developers.

AppConnect ecosystem engages application vendors and customers to further increase the number of applications integrated with MobileIron’s platform and offer a more comprehensive solution to customers. With this partnership, both will provide a solution for enterprises where the employees can communicate with needed security. NetSfere, created by Infinite Convergence (messaging and mobility solutions provider), will be available to enterprises that use MobileIron’s EMM platform for a secured user experience.

John Morgan, Vice President of Product and Ecosystem, MobileIron said, “Mobility is the most powerful tool the enterprise has ever seen, but to realize its full potential, enterprises need to be able to protect data wherever it lives. With MobileIron and NetSfere, our customers can encourage collaboration while maintaining even the most strict security and compliance requirements.”

NetSfere’s security algorithm supports device-to-device encryption that facilitates a centralized administrative control of end-user policies and privileges as mandated by the enterprise. It also tracks the messages and documents from the time they are sent from the device until they are arrived on the receiving device. NetSfere syncs across all devices for a streamlined user experience, while IT has the policy controls it needs to secure and manage corporate data. NetSfere also claims that its service is designed to meet the industry-specific challenges an organization usually faces, its approach allows employees to safely communicate business information in real-time via a user-friendly Web interface or mobile messaging app.

Anurag Lal, CEO and president of Infinite Convergence, creators of NetSfere stated, “We are excited to work with MobileIron and bring the power of secure mobile messaging to their customers. Since our launch, we have focused NetSfere on security, restoring control to the organization and regulatory compliance, making it a natural fit for MobileIron.”

NetSfere, announced key upgrades to its service, including the introduction of its new chat bot, Net-C earlier this year. It also expanded its availability across all operating platforms and devices with the launch of apps for Apple Watch and Windows Phone.
