LinkedIn’s new e-learning portal to integrate Lynda content

Professional networking website LinkedIn has announced the availability of “LinkedIn Learning”, an e-learning portal for individuals and businesses. With this e-learning portal, the company aims to help people acquire new skills through a personalized, data-driven and engaging learning experience. The company states that it will be sharing access to the knowledge and courses with individuals and business professionals with this portal.

LinkedIn had acquired Lynda, an online learning company last year. It claims that it is planning to combine content from Lynda with its professional data and network for the newly launched e-learning portal. Moreover, Microsoft that has acquired LinkedIn, states that it will provide an array of new training courses on the e-learning portal to help get more out of Office.
