Kalray, a provider of data center acceleration solutions has partnered with Zentera Systems to help organizations in extending their IT infrastructure to the cloud with enterprise-grade security. Kalray claims to offer software acceleration engines implemented on the MPPA high-speed I/O processor.
According to Eric Baissus, CEO, Kalray, The company’s MPPA (Massively Parallel Processor Array) high-speed I/O processor is a unique and fully programmable solution to manage data center applications that require low latency, low power, and high data throughput.
Zentera has chosen Kalray to provide the basic software modules for implementing algorithmic offloading functions. A solution that the company states can be used for offloading servers of inline encryption and also be used for checking the data integrity.
“Kalray is the latest company to join our extensive technology partner network. Its acceleration technology is applicable to a wide range of multicloud networking and security challenges,” said Jason Lee, Solution Architect, Zentera.
Zentera’s also claims that its networking and security solution for multiple data centers and clouds, CoIP (Cloud over IP) helps enterprises to connect and secure multi cloud workloads with east-west micro-segmentation and network encryption.
The new attack surface exposed by remote cloud endpoints is protected with its advanced security features such as application white listing with network interlock and APIs for third-party security engine integration.
