EnTouch to adopt Intel's IoT technology for product expansion
EnTouch Controls, a provider of energy management systems has declared that it is expanding its existing IoT (Internet of Things) product line centered on Intel technology. This expansion will leverage multi-site companies to boost the EnTouch analytics and remote management platform along with existing open standard control and sensor infrastructure.
Jon Bolen, Chief Operating Officer for the company, said, “Today, our EnTouch 360 full suite of applications and services support over 4,000 sites for some of the country’s largest restaurateurs, retailers and commercial multi-site operators.”
“With the introduction of our family of enterprise and facility-class gateways, our valued customers can now leverage prior investments in existing legacy equipment while experiencing the full benefit of EnTouch’s remote monitoring and rich analytic capabilities.”The firm will be using Intel IoT technology to enhance its existing solution EnTouch 360. It offers energy management intelligence solution along with energy analysis and prompt resolution. It simplifies the work of facility management team while it delivers savings to the enterprise’s bottom line. The products which the firm delivers will be using Intel IoT technology in two primary Gateway solutions:
- Enterprise Class Gateway: It is designed for a centralized, wide-area takeover of existing IP-based infrastructure.
- Facilities Class Gateway: It is more simplified and affordable as it will provide the connectivity to the cloud and physical layer requirements of legacy localized controls.
