Onix makes workflow creation a cakewalk for Google App users

Onix, the developer and provider of technology solutions and consulting services to corporate and government customers, has announced the launch of Opprove, a tool that allows Google Apps users to create a workflow without requiring programming skills or other IT support. Being a Google partner since 2001, Onix has partnered with several technology industry leaders to offer expertise in the design and implementation of end-to-end comprehensive solutions.

With the launch of Opprove, Onix aims to empower business leaders in departments such as human resources, marketing and procurement to streamline manual processes to increase efficiency. The tool is easy-to-use and will cut down on the cost and training required for heavier, more complex workflow applications.

Opprove has an interface, which can be used by the business leaders to submit a request with any artefact required and create a workflow. The approving authority, to give approvals at each passing stage, then, can govern the workflow. Personnels within an enterprise who are using Google Apps can use this tool, including project or line managers who wish to formalize and automate processes.

The request and workflows help to make Google Apps more useful within an organization. It cuts tedious processes and programming time. The tool allows enterprises to be more efficient when routing documents as it streamlines and automates the process of approvals. This eventually saves time, effort and resources by organizing the approval process and setting deadlines for approvals.

Onix is a developer of dozens of applications for clients across a multitude of industries including corporate, education, federal, state and local government organizations. Dave Lyon, Director, Product Development, says, “We believe Opprove was a necessary application to build. To be competitive, organizations must automate as many manual processes as possible, leaving employees more time to pursue strategic execution.”
