, a Bangalore-based IT consultancy firm and Stibo Systems that specializes
in Master Data Managemnet (MDM
) solutions, have announced a partnership to enhance enterprise data management. Master data and its management can be quite a task for companies that do not have the resources and insights to link all its business-critical data to one master file for common access. And with this deal, both the companies aim to address the challenge of centralizing data and improve data sharing internally.
The collaboration will see the creation of data foundations to offer business intelligence insights to joint customers. In conjunction, Wipro and Stibo Systems are also eyeing to set-up a MDM Center of Excellence (COE) in Bangalore that will showcase industry practices, standards and guidelines that can be leveraged for customer projects.
Pallab Deb, Vice President and Global Head, Analytics, Wipro, said, “In an increasingly digital world, it is imperative that organizations implement a modern and, more importantly, proven, data and analytics strategy, that enables them to apply insight to actual business practices.”
Wipro’s deep multi-domain MDM expertise combined with Stibo Systems’ leading master data management solution, will empower our customers by providing them with trusted information and insights, that can transform the way they conduct business.
The joint integration is bringing Wipro’s analytics and Information Mangement (IM) solution combined with STEP Trailblazer
, Stibo’s MDM offering. STEP as a platform, integrates multiple disparate systems in a company by streamlining the process of aggregating and consolidating information around multiple products and assets, claims Stibo Systems.
Reportedly, the reference data from multiple sources is inter-connected to derive actionable insights and then published to backend systems. Also, business users can fully administrate STEP without the need for IT support which includes system configuration, data governance and system monitoring.
With multi-domain MDM, customers and clients could avoid risks of increased costs due to redundant technologies or conflicting processes and enhance user experience with a complete view of customer data.
Andreas Lorenzen, President, Stibo Systems (North America), said:
Stibo Systems consistently works with partners to foster innovation, which has translated into faster implementation times, increased ROI (return on investment) and overall greater business value for our customers.
“We value Wipro’s rich industry domain knowledge and technical expertise, and look forward to working together to help our customers step up to the unique challenges they face when trying to grow their business and maximize their return on investment,” Lorenzen added.
