Mike Slater new JAPAC COO at Software AG; Anneliese Schulz promoted VP for Asia

Enterprise software company Software AG today announced the appointment of Mike Slater as Chief Operating Officer for the Asia Pacific and Japan region and the promotion of Anneliese Schulz as the Vice President of Software AG’s Asia region. In their new roles, they will be responsible for managing and strengthening the company’s operations and business initiatives in their respective regions.

“2016 has been an exceptional year for Software AG’s growth in Asia Pacific, and the new appointments will further bolster our success at this time of tremendous digitalization in the region.” said, Eric Duffaut, CCO, Software AG.

“With 20 years of ICT experience, Mike’s global expertise and industry knowledge positions him well to continue our success as we drive growth for ourselves, our clients and our partners.”

He added, “Since joining the company in 2011, Anneliese’s contribution to Software AG has been invaluable. Under her leadership, we have secured many key client wins in Asia. Her appointment, together with her strong track record and understanding of market requirements, will help Software AG further grow its regional market presence.“

Software AG has also revealed plans to continue to spearhead digitalization in Asia Pacific and Japan, and help build the digital economy in the region. Under the new leadership, the company aims to grow its focus in the region, arming enterprises with enhanced technology solutions that are inline with the evolving technology and business landscape.

These appointments come at a time when Software AG claims to be experiencing exceptional growth in the region as a result of its partnership ecosystem, innovation and go-to-market strategy.
