Box ties up with Google to integrate with Docs and Springboard
Looks like the content management platform Box is on a partnership spree! After announcing a strategic partnership with IBM, Box is now partnering with Google in order to aid enterprises to manage all their content on cloud. Box claims that it has always helped enterprises to manage their work in one place, no matter what applications they are using, whom they are sharing with, or what device they are on and with this tie up it will all take place in cloud. The aim is to integrate Box with Google Docs and Springboard, allowing users to bring together Box’s secure content management with Google’s productivity apps.
In a blogpost, Nan Boden, Head of Global Technology Partners, Google mentioned:
“We want our customers to have flexibility in their choice of tools and to have the most productive and collaborative suite possible for their needs. In fact, several of our own customers, like Avago, Intuit, Internet2 and Whirlpool already use Box and Google together, and these integrations will contribute to a more productive and collaborative enterprise. We’re excited to partner closely with Box to expand our efforts in the enterprise and transform how businesses work in the cloud.”
