CloudGenix's Partner Program to manage its ION product family

CloudGenix, a software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) provider, has announced the CloudGenix Partner Program to support the rapidly growing ecosystem of its channel partners. This is in lieu with their accelerated demand for the Instant-On Networks (ION) product family. ION delivers an application-defined fabric that is designed to eliminate the need for hardware routers, which according to the company, brings a new economic model to networking and radically changes how networks are built and managed. With ION, CloudGenix claims that its partners can add a market-creating new approach to networking to their product portfolios. “Our customer environments are evolving rapidly. Modern applications require a new approach to networking that is agile and responsive to the business,” said Rich Falcone, Executive Vice President, CDI.

The company claims that ION is different from traditional or incremental hybrid-WAN-only alternatives as it delivers the cloud without any compromise to the remote office, ensures high performance for transactional and rich media applications over a hybrid-WAN, and virtualizes the branch — truly delivering on the promise of an SD-WAN.
“CloudGenix is 100 percent channel-driven. The reason we have record numbers of Cisco Gold Certified partners signing up is because the CloudGenix SD-WAN solution can be introduced either as the best complement to a customer’s existing Cisco network, or as a replacement for legacy Cisco WAN routers,” said Robert Sexton, Vice President, Channel, CloudGenix.
