provider SiteLock has acquired Dutch startup Patchman for an undisclosed amount. The latter provides web security solutions to hosting providers and detects vulnerabilities found commonly in content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal and Joomla. According to an official communication, SiteLock, with this acquisition will be able to have a global footprint and expand its threat database. It will also be able to extend its services to the hosting provider community.
