Salesforce Bellview office to house largest engineering & innovation team

Customer Relationship Management Company, Salesforce, has announced the opening of its new office in Bellevue, Washington. According to the company, the office will house one of its largest engineering and innovation hubs. It also plans to double its workforce to 500 in the Bellview office and cater to more than 150,000 customers globally. Parker Harris, Co-Founder, Salesforce, said, “By tapping into the local talent pool in the Seattle area, we can expand our world-class engineering team, accelerating our ability to create innovative products that redefine the customer experience.” According to the company, the new Bellevue Engineering & Innovation Hub will help accelerate Salesforce’s ability to bring innovative solutions to its customers. The new office claims to inspire creativity and collaboration amongst engineers for innovations in artificial intelligence with Einstein, productivity with Quip, mobility with Salesforce1, app development with Lightning and connected devices with the IoT Cloud. According to media reports the greater Seattle area is home to Amazon Web Services and Microsoft. The area also hosts cloud-engineering work for Silicon Valley-based players such as Oracle and Google.
