Progressly raises $6M, ropes in Silicon veteran Ruslan Belkin as VP
Progressly, an online platform for sharing, collaborating and adopting processes for businesses, has secured $6 million in a Series A investment round led by 8VC’s Joe Lonsdale and Drew Oetting. The funding round also saw participation from from Bill Malloy and Brian Nugent, General Partners of Accelerate-IT Ventures (AITV) and David Beirne. According to Progressly, this funding will be used to make its existing platform more adaptive and it also aims to offer a single platform to enterprises to execute their processes for increased efficiency and productivity.
With this funding, Progressly also announced the appointment of Ruslan Belkin who has served Salesforce, Twitter, Netscape, Siebel Systems, Sun Microsystems and LinkedIn, in the past and will be taking up the position of Vice President, Product Development.

The Redwood City-based company claims itself as the first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables companies such as Valero, Comcast, Shell to standardize and centralize business processes. It has an operational alignment that helps the user define and standardize processes while keeping every team member in sync. The platform also claims to deliver critical insights on key performance indicators to improve operations.
